1. WHAT SORT OF KARAOKE MUSIC DO YOU HAVE?
The SUPERJUKE karaoke machine holds a massive amount of karaoke video songs. Over 1,300 songs in different categories including The songs are displayed on the 51cm colour TV monitor screen supplied, showing the words that are highlighted in colour and synchronised in time with the music. You can see the music categories and all the songs by clicking on the Karaoke music library. The SUPERJUKE Karaoke is fully digital so it does not use CD's, VCD's, CDG's or DVD's. With other formats CD's etc. you quite often get filler songs on each album that may not be suitable for your function. All the songs in our library have been hand picked and are proven popular songs. The categories include 1950's, 1960's, 1970's, 1980's, 1990's, 2000's, Top 50 and Recent, The Beatles, Elvis, Cabaret, Love Songs, and Country. And we continue to add songs on a regular basis.

2. IS THE SUPERJUKE KARAOKE MACHINE EASY TO OPERATE?
The SUPERJUKE Karaoke is the easiest karaoke machine to operate. Simply touch the karaoke screen with your finger to select the category then touch the desired song and then on goes the song or it is added to the play list. This is possible because all the karaoke music is inside the machine. Many other karaoke hirers give you a karaoke playback unit and a box of karaoke discs and you have to change over the music manually all night, which is messy, extremely time consuming and difficult to find the song that you are looking for. With the SUPERJUKE karaoke machine there are no external buttons or volume controls and no discs or tapes to be handled. It couldn't be easier. And what's more, the SUPERJUKE Karaoke machine displays the next 5 songs in the play list so that your guests can see when it is their turn to sing. And, when no karaoke song is playing, that is, whenever a karaoke song finishes, the SUPERJUKE karaoke machine will play normal hit songs from original artists, at random, from a category of your choice, to give you continuous music throughout the night, and so that you and your guests can have a dance as well.

3. WHAT EXACTLY DOES THE REMOTE CONTROL ALLOW ME TO DO?
Most other party hire karaoke machines have volume controls, track next or cancel buttons either on the front or on the rear of the machine just waiting for that annoying guest to interfere with the volume all night or cancel a song even when people are singing, in an attempt to hear their song immediately. As soon as you are seen adjusting the volume on these karaoke machines, (everybody looks toward you because the volume changes) your guests know instantly where to look for the volume control - and, there's not a great deal you can do about it. This can be extremely frustrating and something that every host can do without. It can make the difference between a really great party and an absolute flop! The whole idea about having a karaoke machine is so that you do not have to worry about the music so never, ever book a karaoke with volume or cancel buttons that are accessible to your guests.

There are no external volume controls or cancel buttons on the SUPERJUKE at all. With the SUPERJUKE only you are in total control. The infrared remote control lets you set the VOLUME of the karaoke music and the microphones to a level that you and only you want; so that your guests are kept under control as you go into the early hours of the next morning.

The remote control allows you to "JUMP" tracks. Say for example one of your guests selects a song that you do not wish to hear at that particular time, you can simply "JUMP" onto the next track.

The remote control also allows you to RESET all the karaoke songs in the play list without interfering with the current song playing (so nobody knows) and then add more selections. For example, your guests might be singing away, and you decide you want to change the songs coming up, and yet there are still 10 selections to go. Using the remote control you (and only you) can access the RESET feature and delete all the songs coming up in the play list. Your guests continue to sing to the song currently playing, and are none the wiser. This means that you have the confidence in knowing that at any time you can change the music without affecting the "flow" of the party. You can put the karaoke machine on PAUSE when making announcements, and yes we have thought of everything, you can even put the karaoke machine on LOCK to prevent anyone from making selections if desired, all via the remote control.

4. CAN WE HAVE A DANCE AS WELL AS SING?
With the SUPERJUKE unique customise function using the remote control you can tell the karaoke machine what catergory(s) of music you want it to play at random when there is no karaoke song playing, that is, when there is no one singing. The SUPERJUKE will play normal hit songs from original artists (automatically - you don't have to switch it over) so you can have a dance as well if you wish. This is a very handy feature if you have a particular music theme or even if you want the karaoke to play some suitable background music at random during a meal.

5. WHAT ELSE IS INCLUDED WITH THE KARAOKE?
Every SUPERJUKE karaoke machine has separate speakers on 10m cables. This means you do not need to put the Karaoke machine in the centre of the singing and dancing area - you can virtually place the speakers wherever you want. You can keep the speakers well away from the microphones and therefore avoid "feedback" that is common with cheaper machines. Our karaoke machines are 300 watts high efficiency power in stereo digital quality. They include a separate full colour 51 cm TV monitor so you can see the easy to read words and the karaoke film clips on the screen. Not 1 or 2, but 3 microphones all on microphone stands, are provided with the SUPERJUKE karaoke machine, so you can have a lot of singers at the one time and look professional as well! The microphones can also be used for announcements. The SUPERJUKE karaoke machine was designed and manufactured by SUPERJUKE in Australia. We also use an Australian designed built amplifier and Australian made speakers

6. WHAT ON EARTH ARE "SMART LIGHTS"?
The SUPERJUKE unique flashing coloured disco "SMART LIGHTS" are included with every SUPERJUKE karaoke hire. The lights are positioned on each of the speakers, and beat with the music, and include a separate on/off facility that allows you to control the mood of the party. The SUPERJUKE lights are "Smart" lights meaning that there are no controls required because they automatically adjust to the beat of the music no matter what the volume. Most other machines only have display lights (and not disco lights) or a single box that you need to adjust all night to counteract the changing music volume. They are usually in a fixed monotonous chasing pattern, the same 1,2,3,4 pattern all night long, that is more likely to send your guest to sleep rather than encourage them to get up and sing or dance. The SUPERJUKE "Smart" lights beat with the music so they are different with every song. Now that's atmosphere.

7. HOW AUTHENTIC ARE THE KARAOKE SONGS?
The SUPERJUKE Karaoke machine uses real karaoke songs, recorded with real instruments in a real studio with real backing vocalists as per the original track. There are many computer karaoke systems available for hire that play MIDI files that anyone can download from the internet. These songs are generated on a computer. They have no backing vocals and they sound more like "music on hold" chimes than they do a real karaoke song - so beware. There are also karaoke machines that use a budget vocal removal system taking the original song and attempting to remove the vocals using nothing more that a graphic equalizer system. This sounds even worse with all the quality frequencies being removed as well, so all you end up with is a muffled flat sounding example of the original. The SUPERJUKE karaoke songs are recorded to sound like the original version but without the lead vocals - that's what karaoke is all about - so you can be Elvis, Elton or Eminem.

8. IS DELIVERY AND PICK-UP INCLUDED IN THE FEE?
Yes, we offer delivery and pick-up of our machines to most suburbs in the metropolitan area. Delivery is included in the hire fee for the majority of suburbs but we do not deliver to all suburbs or areas away from the main city region. Deliveries for Saturday functions are usually AM to early afternoon and pick-up times are usually AM Sunday. If access to your venue is outside of our usual delivery and/or pick up times, or if there are access restrictions, we may not be able to take your booking, so please check with the venue first. In many cases when a Saturday function is to be held at a private residence we are able to deliver on the Friday, depending on the availability of the machines. We are extremely organised. We arrange the delivery and pick-up times around 2 days before the function, and we don't just say we will be there some time between 9am to 5pm, we are usually able to give you an arrival time for example, 9.30 - 10am or 11.30am to 12noon etc., so you will not have to wait for us all day wondering when we will arrive.

9. WHAT ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE?
You will always find us prompt and thorough with the paperwork including receipts and arranging delivery and pick-up times etc. On booking, a self-addressed stamped envelope is included with the booking form for post-free prompt return. A $50.00 deposit/bond is required to confirm you hire booking. The delivery vans are clearly sign written and the delivery personnel are smartly dressed wearing the SUPERJUKE uniform. Should the office not be attended your call will be diverted to a mobile phone, backed up with both voice mail and a paging service, so you will always be able to make contact. We have been in the hire business for over 29 years so we know how important it is to keep in touch and the customer well informed. Most importantly, the SUPERJUKE jukebox and karaoke machines are designed and built by us, right here in Australia, so maintenance is carried out on the machines by their creator, resulting in unprecedented reliability. And rest assured in the unlikely event that you need attention there is always a back up machine available.

10. HOW MUCH ROOM DOES THE KARAOKE MACHINE TAKE UP?
The SUPERJUKE Karaoke requires a floor space of approximately 540mm wide x 515mm deep with a max. height of 1170mm. Speakers and lights are on 10m cables and therefore adaptable requiring a floor space of approximately 400m wide x 350mm deep, with a max. height of 750mm including lights positioned on top of each speaker. Allow room for the 51cm TV monitor, 3 Microphone stands (and singers of course). The karaoke machine is best set up where the speakers can be positioned in front of and away from the microphones. A 10-amp normal household 240v power point or earthed extension lead within 10m is required.
